Pictures from the Missionary Training Center (MTC)

This was our registration at the MTC.  We had a short line-up.  Later the line was considerably bigger.

These are the Senior Couples who came on the same day as us.  We are in the top picture.

We were able to meet two of our seminary students who are going to Mexico.  Carter and Nathan met us at our Tuesday devotional and we had our picture taken with them.

What a bunch of Good Missionaries!!!

Heading to the MTC

Joanne was checking out our luggage in Dad Taylor's truck.
We needed a truck to haul our luggage

Us in the MTC with our name tags

We just checked in at the MTC and one of the staff took our picture as we were heading out to our room.

This is our room in the MTC.  We also have a bathroom with a shower that isn't shown.

This us in the MTC, standing in front of the big world map, pointing to Samoa

This is the big world map on the wall at the MTC, below is us standing in front of it.

This is our district.  The Campbell's, on the right, are going to Cape Verde (Just off the western coast of Africa); next is the Adams who are going to  London up by the temple;  the girl in the center back is Sister Yazzi,  our trainer; we are next, and are going to Samoa; and the Smith's are on the far left, they are going to Australia.  We had a great group.

Our Children's Mission Farewell video

All of our children live quite far away.  Due to the dangerous travel conditions in winter they were not able to come  up and see us before we left on our mission.  However we were able to see them all this last summer and had wonderful visits with our children, their spouses and our grandkids.

A few of them decided to put together a video focused on the gospel as a fun send off for our mission.  They delivered it in an e-mail on Christmas morning.   We LOVED it.  We are a little unsure where their unique sense of humor comes from but a likely candidate is Nelson.  So we hope you enjoy the video.
